 Job Description

Your Role
In this hands-on role, you will:

• Deliver high level executive support services to the Mayor, Councillors, CEO and Directors.
• Manage the end to end coordination of agendas, business papers, and minutes for Council and executive committees. 
• Coordinate Citizenship ceremonies and assist with the preparation of compliance documentation.
• Uphold confidentiality and act with a high level of integrity and respect.
• Maintain accurate, timely records in alignment with compliance frameworks. 
• Prepare professional correspondence, briefings and reports on behalf of the executive team. 
• Work autonomously and proactively to exceed deadlines and service standards. 

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications including a high level of proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• High level office administration skills.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Your Working Environment (for eligible employees)

• Work a 9 day fortnight, based on a 35 hour working week.
• Access to 2 weeks sick leave, accumulative where unused.
• Access to 1 week MyLeave per year, to be utilised for any purpose. 
• Access to 6.5 weeks long service leave after 5 years of employment.

Renumeration
Salary from $72,450 to $78,245 per year + 12 % super, depending on skills, experience and qualifications in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government State Award.
